For working professionals, the biggest hurdle to entering in the interdisciplinary field of Live Performance XR isn’t the technology or the concepts - it’s finding excellent collaborators to work with. Through 5WF’s curated programs and accessible community initiatives, we bring together industry professionals from around the world.
CREATE
We believe the creative process is messy and the best way to learn is with “Less Talking, More Doing.” 5WF provides a framework and resources for collaboration to help explore the unfamiliar and create the unknown by actually building live XR performance projects.
SHARE
The entire community thrives when there is a safe space for you to ask for feedback, reach out for help, or try out an untested idea. 5WF provides that from the first meeting of program participants to celebrating the successes of our alums, mentors, allies, and projects.
Our Community
Our dynamic, diverse community of professionals includes over 500 people from five continents and dozens of countries with backgrounds across a myriad of industries including traditional theater, software engineering, architecture, dance, journalism, animation, film, songwriting, and even astrophysics.
Our Initiatives
5WF programs are designed and curated to bolster diverse, talented professionals and projects in the live performance XR narrative space. Behind the scenes our team works to accelerate the marketplace for artists, producers and audiences.

5th Wall Forum was founded by an interdisciplinary, diverse, passionate visionaries driven to help creators and the industry succeed by connecting professionals and fostering the community.
Industry leaders, including Tony and Emmy Award winners, across technology, theater, media, non-profits, and hardware companies volunteer their time and talent to mentor 5WF participants.
